One guy making a stand against abortion in NJ was a Libertarian,
who did surprisingly well:

Libertarian Murray Sabrin, a 50-year-old college professor
making his first run for office, had 111,727 votes, or 5 percent.
The state's first third party gubernatorial candidate to qualify
for state matching campaign funds, Sabrin also attacked Whitman on
a host of issues, including her support of abortion rights.
