Case-control analysis of leukemia among Chernobyl (sic) accident
emergency workers residing in the Russian Federation, 1986-1993.

By Ivanov VK et al (Obninsk, Russia).

Journal of Radiological Protection 1997; 17:137-157

The conclusion states ...... " .... at present no significant radiation
dose-response relationships for leukemia have been found."

The result was not expected, since leukemia is relatively rare, and is
known to be induced by radiation, and has a relatively short latent
period.
