There was a discussion of this issue on the O'Reilly factor this past
week. The consensus was that this is simply another attempt to foment
racism on the part of the NAA(L)CP. The primary reason for this is
the advent of cable and satellite television. There are a plethora of
black oriented networks that are bleeding off black talent from the
traditional networks. There are only so many talented people of any
race and short of putting untalented people on TV (although that is
happening anyway) there are simply not enough to go around.

I might also add that the proportion of white talent on these black
networks are miniscule. Yet I do not hear the NAAWP howling about
that racism.
