When told I had type II Diabetes last August, I went
on diet and after 50 days lost 25 pounds and significantly
reduced my blood glucose from 217 to 138. Eliminating 90%
sugar intake and maintaing an 1800 calorie diet did
the job. Such dieting will work and controlling what and
how much you eat from that point of success. -- I stopped
my sever dieting and just take care in what I eat.
BTW -- I used drug called "glucophage" during my diet and
am now off it.
