KARL MARX WOULD HAVE LOVED GEPHARDT AND
DASCHLE...as they rejected Bush's tax cut as
"favoring the rich over the poor." Their tactic of
invoking "class warfare" would have formed another
chapter in Karl's "Das Kapital."
WHY IS LOUIS FREEH STILL FBI DIRECTOR???
IS SILENCE GOLDEN???... If AlGore refuses to comment
on the Clinton pardon "mess" with a hope that it will
"go away," its a political decision worth watching.
The Dem Party needs a new leader, post haste, and
Al may be squandering the chance to fill the "void."
CHINA'S HUMAN RIGHTS RECORD "WORSENED" ..in 2000
per the State Department's annual survey. So much for the
argument that our trading with Red China would cause
them to improve their citizens' "rights."
IS IT TRUE THAT THE WRITERS OF "THE SOPRANOS" ...
are suing Bill and Hillary for copyright violations?
CLINTON "ENABLERS" WANT US TO NOW FORGET....their
"saving service" to Clinton as they rush to condemn
his dishonesty. Can they "have it both ways?" Given
the public's short memory, they probably will.
80 PERCENT OF SENIORS GRADUATING ... from 55 of the
nation's top universities earned no better than a "D"
in American history, flunking questions on everything
from the identity of Harry S Truman to the correct
century when the Civil War broke out.
ANOTHER CLINTON LEGAL SINKHOLE ... Manhattan U.S.
Attorney Mary Jo White and the FBI, announced they
were opening a probe into presidential pardons. Given
the "turtle pace" of past work by Mary Jo, as noted by
Bill Safire, it would not be surprising to see Bill and
friends slowly slink away.
A "CHIP OFF THE OL' BLOCK" ...Andrew Cuomo had HUD
assemble a $53,500 report detailing the agency's work
overseas with 15 photos of himself.
