Lawyers are not out to punish anybody.  Punishment and consequences are
incidental.  Lawyers are out to make a lot of money.  It is that
simple.  Lawsuits are merely a vehicle to that end, and the lawyers
couldn't possibly care less whom they hurt in their pursuit.
