COMMITTEE OF ONE
FOOD FOR THOUGHT March 24, 2004
THE SHAME OF PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER...charging
that another president, George W. Bush, LIED (re his
waging war in Iraq) AND making that vicious personal
attack while on foreign soil.
IN SPITE OF MONSIEUR KERRY'S OPPOSITION... fellow
senate democrats have agreed not to filibuster a bill that
ensures crimes against a pregnant woman count as two victims.
JOHN DEAN, THE "MAD" ELF FROM VERMONT... still shows a
moral paucity as he argues "The president was the one who
dragged our troops to Iraq, which apparently has been a factor
in the death of 200 Spaniards killed by terrorist bombers.
PINNOCHIO, PINNOCHIO, WHEREFORE ART THOU??? ... not to
worry. Just watch Senator Kerry tell us how he voted on and did
not vote on a defense bill to help equip our troops in Iraq.
HORRORS OF HORRORS, ISRAEL DARED TO ASSASSINATE....
a terrorist leader. Listening to some members of the media present
in a WHouse news briefing, we should be condemning Israel's use
of assassination. The fact that the now dead Hamas leader Sheik
Yassin urged and helped in the murdering of hundreds of Israeli
women and children has no bearing on the need to "wipe him out."
WHOOPS!...Richard Clarke has charged that the Bush administration
has waged a less effective war on terror than the Clinton administration.
Richard seems to conveniently(?) forget his past charges that the
Clinton administration had the opportunity to take out Osama, had the
understanding of how dangerous he was, and still chose not to act.
WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, LOOK AT THE RECORD.... While Richard C.
was Clinton's White House counterterrorism advisor, the first World Trade
Center attack, the attacks on two US embassies in Africa, the Kobar towers,
and the USS Cole went un-punished.
A LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY...G.W.Bush,although urged to
do so, would not criticize the operations of the Clinton years as he
started his presidency. Lo and behold the denizens of that
administration are now viciously attacking G.W.'s conduct of his office.
IF CLINTON COULD GET A REPUBLICAN SENATOR COHEN....as his
Sec. of defense ... it should be no "stretch" for a Sen. Kerry to get such
a very willing friend, Republican McCain, to do the same for him.
A FRIEND IN DEED...French Prez M. Chirac once called Saddam "a
personal friend and a great statesman."
"One must fight if only to have fought according to one's conscience"
