TAMPA, Fla. Busch Gardens says it doesn't think its roller coaster is to
blame for a death at a Florida theme park.
A 52-year-old man who complained he felt sick after riding the coaster
Monday morning died in a hospital two hours later.
The ride reaches 50-miles-per-hour and drops from a 90-foot lift but
doesn't go upside down. It has written and audio warnings along the way
cautioning people from boarding the ride if they have high blood
pressure, heart problems or other illnesses.
Officials briefly shut down the ride for an inspection but later
re-opened it.

MIAMI A woman who says she was severely burned at a Miami night club four
years ago is suing Bacardi, claiming the company's rum is dangerous and
defective.
The lawsuit says a bartender was pouring shots when a customer lit a menu
on fire and placed it in the stream of alcohol. A bottle of Bacardi 151
that was being used to pour the shots turned into a flame thrower.
The woman says she suffered second and third degree burns and was
permanently disabled and disfigured.
Miami-based Bacardi U-S-A hasn't commented yet on the suit.

And from the, "Gee, I thought it was all make believe department,":

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. New York authorities are investigating the discovery a
severed horse's head in a councilwoman's swimming pool.
Police in Wawayanda (way-way-AHN'-dah), New York, say the head was found
Tuesday and is being treated as a threat against Councilwoman Gail Soro.
A spokesman says she's been harassed before.
One of the most famous scenes in "The Godfather" showed a movie mogul
waking up with a horse head in his bed after he refused to bow to the
will of the title character, played by Marlon Brando.
Wawayanda is located 106 miles southwest of Albany.
