Fortunately this bill is looking more an more doomed. If it gets
through the Senate and that is not a given any more, it will not get
through the house in its present form. The worse news is that if this
bill is killed, as it should be, it will then be more of the same.
I'm afraid nothing will happen until another 9/11 or two.
P.S. It is little publicized but this bill also has a provision that
will result in the release of some 20,000+ violent criminals.
