Glad you used the <grin> after "fertilized egg".     The text book definition of  an embryo is a fertilized egg, and an egg is what an embryo is before it is fertilized.   Your proper mis-use of the term makes you smarter than the current occupant of the White House,   who advocates stem cell research, but thinks we should limit it to the use of "unfertilized embryos".    Who'd of ever thunk this fool would make us miss the intellect of George Bush???
