First Lady Michele Obama used an appearance on a
radio program this week to accuse Republicans of
rampant lying, vote suppression and other
nefarious deeds, claiming her husband is “nowhere
near finished” with his plans to change the U.S.

But officials with
<http://www.judicialwatch.org>Judicial Watch, the
famed Washington government watchdog
organization, said if she has evidence of illegal
activities, she needs to produce it.

“Mrs. Obama’s accusations about minority vote
suppression are racially divisive and show a
dangerous disregard for the truth,” said Tom
Fitton, the organization’s president. “We are
aware of no evidence of actual voter suppression.

“If Mrs. Obama has some, it should be disclosed.”

rant against Republicans and their illegal “voter
suppression” came Thursday on the Tom Joyner Show.

“People have to stay focused on what’s going on,
because it’s easy to get confused in all the back
and forth that goes on, and there’s a whole lot
of not-truth telling going on, if you know what I mean,” she said.

She continued by accusing Republicans of
widespread vote suppression during the 2012 election.

“Voter suppression was in full force in so many
states all over this country,” she charged.

The GOP’s strategy, she said, was “unprecedented
amounts of money,” negative campaigning and
trying to prevent voters from going to the polls.

“The fact is,” noted Fitton, “that early exit
polls
<http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/11/07/us-usa-campaign-elect-idUSBRE8A613L20121107>reflected
a pro-Obama turnout by minorities that in some
key states actually exceeded numbers seen during
his historic election in 2008.”

He continued, “As MSNBC reported, ‘Non-white
voters delivered a wake-up call to Republicans
Tuesday night. Turning out in droves for Obama,
Latino voters alone split 71 percent for Obama
compared to Mitt Romney’s 27 percent. High voter
turnout by minorities reflected a huge
demographic shift that Republicans ignored at their own peril.’”

Fitton said, “Voter ID requirements are widely
supported and are no impediment to voting.”

He continued, “The First Lady’s reckless remarks
are part of the Obama administration’s continued
assault on voter ID and election integrity. This
is despite the fact that an election night survey
of voters
<http://www.scribd.com/doc/112602402/Judwatch-Tabs>by
Judicial Watch, in partnership with
Breitbart.com, showed a large majority of
respondents (65 percent) ‘strongly support’
voters being required to show an official government ID when voting.”

He explained, “Support cut across racial lines,
with 52 percent of blacks and 64 percent of
Hispanics strongly believing that IDs should be required.”

Meanwhile, Judicial Watch’s own Election
Integrity Project is taking legal action against
states to force them “to clean their voter rolls
and protect the integrity of the election process.”

<http://wnd.com/?p=321571>WND has reported
extensively on allegations of actual vote fraud
during the 2012 election, with the conclusion
that while no single instance or aspect of vote
fraud likely was enough to give Obama the
election, “the aggregate of
 corrupt activities
– including illegal campaign donations, taking
advantage of states without voter ID
requirements, military ballots delivered too
late, as well as the laundry list of elements
identified in this report, may well have been.”

The report found, “The media provided perhaps the
<http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=207>greatest
in-kind benefit to the Obama re-election effort,
providing Democrats an advantage of countless
billions in biased reporting; suppressing news
unflattering to Democrats while exposing or even
contriving stories damaging to Republicans and
mischaracterizing their positions, while
uncritically promoting the Democrat narrative.”
