True, it doesn't apply to private entities, but, as I understand it, the Missouri govt. has gotten involved at some level, and there have been calls for a DOJ investigation, etc., 

If you don't stand up for your rights the effects percolate through society and the next thing you have is a crime of "anti-government slander."

Nope. The 1st and any others apply to the federal government and in most cases the states. It does not apply to private enterprises.
