         Lange and Bob Eubanks (Newly Wed Game) 
were both radio stars on the West Coast, were 
other game show hosts during the 1960s. TV was a 
fairly new medium and was looking for "pizzazz" 
to grab and retain audience share, which is why 
they went after successful big market radio personnel. -  jaq
