from the article:   "....The Constitution requires an outside
source of law. That’s why you will not find prohibitions against murder, rape, theft, and other crimes. The founders understood that they were
not the ultimate source of law, and that included judges...."

What a way to gloss over the fact our founding fathers left much to the States, and Federal law was silent on many issues.   Most folks understand there were practical enforcement reasons to federalize murder and bank robbery.   Tom

First, the judge didn't say what the title of article claims he said.  More importantly, the author deliberately distorts both the fundamentals of  Constitutional interpretation and the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

To his credit, he does understand his audience, which is fairly characterised by the following comment from Humble Jim: "So, was they put to death? no their still living! their individual
liberty was not taken from them! no property was taken, so where dose
the 14th Amendment come in?"

That's what Godfather Politics, Red State, and similar sites are all about: keeping the ignorant soaking in a warm nutrient bath of validation.
